Lawrence Verria

Lawrence Verria co-authored, The Kissing Sailor; The Mystery Behind the Kiss that Ended World War II, and wrote The Cool Moose; Robert J. Healey, Jr. Beyond the Beard.  He has presented his findings throughout the country. Currently, he is writing a play on The Cool Moose, among several other projects. 

 

Verria taught United States history and civics for forty years, ten of which he served as the North Kingstown High School Social Studies Department Chair. He and his wife, Celeste Verria, reside in Bristol, Rhode Island where they raised their three daughters.
